All weekend long I've listened to the talking heads say there's four weeks left until the election and that's plenty of time for the republicans to turn things around. I'm not so sure.
At the most I think they have this week and next to turn things around, because after that the voters will probably have made up their minds as to who their going to vote for.
In fact, I would say it's too late now because most people have already made up their minds. Those people who are on the edge and undecided are few and far between by this time, and if they haven't made up their minds within the next two weeks then they're just not interested which means they probably won't even bother vote.
So all the campaigning, TV ads, speeches and rallys are just to shore up the base and nail down their leaners.
There is that 7% who makes the game day decision but in this election where it's all local I doubt they will even matter since they probably won't vote anyway.
Right now the polls are moving our way an if they stay that way by say the 16th of October I think that's what we'll see on election day.
